Dr. Katherine Kieninger joined the College of Social Work as a Research Specialist in August 2022. In her current role as Research Administration Management Consultant, she manages both the day-to-day research activities and long-term planning of research projects for PIs across the college. She also is the PI for two 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline grants from the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health. Prior to joining Ohio State, Dr. Kieninger was a Research Program Manager at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University where she worked with rural Ohio school districts to improve student outcomes. Dr. Kieninger is a proud graduate of Ohio public universities with a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Administration from The Ohio State University and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Ohio University.
