Bio
Chrissy Gilbert, MSW, LISW-S is a Field Coordinator at The Ohio State University College of Social Work, Office of Field Education. She received her BA from Ohio Wesleyan University and her MSW from The Ohio State University College of Social Work. Her practice experience involves mental health counseling, infant adoption, and settlement house work. Her areas of interest are mindfulness, financial social work, self-care and social justice. Currently Chrissy engages regularly with BSSW and MSW students as a field liaison and instructor. She enjoys helping student grow into social workers and create change in the world. In her spare time, Chrissy loves cooking, writing, meditating, being with family and engaging in political activism.
