Congratulations to Dr. Joyce Lee who has been named a 2026 Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) Fellow. SSWR Fellows are members who have served with distinction to advance the mission of the Society—to advance, disseminate, and translate research that addresses issues of social work practice and policy and promotes a diverse, equitable and just society.

People age 50 and older represent the fastest-growing group experiencing homelessness in the United States, according to federal data. As baby boomers and members of Generation X age, that number is expected to rise. A common cause? Rent prices.
