Spring Institute on Social Work and Sustainability at the University of Coimbra in Portugal
The U.S. Department of State’s Fulbright Specialist Program partners with international institutions to bring American scholars abroad, offering a platform to share their teaching and research. Karandikar was able to collaborate with the University of Coimbra, where she lectured and conducted training on global human trafficking, the sex trade and migration.

Clouner receives 2025 OPPA Prevention Visionary Award
Congratulations to Cindy Clouner who recently received the State Visionary Award from the Ohio Prevention Professional’s Association (OPPA). Clouner was honored for her work to advance prevention across the state and serves as the managing director of the Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Drug Misuse Prevention and Recovery (HECAOD).

Kayla Luttrell receives OSUAP Administrative Excellence Award
This award is annually given by the Ohio State University Administrative Professionals (OSUAP) to two staff members, one from the university and one from the medical center. Luttrell currently serves as the executive assistant to Dean David Jenkins.
