Bio

Guijin Lee is a second year doctorate student at The Ohio States University, College of Social Work. She received her BA and MSW from Yonsei University in S. Korea. She has post-MSW experience as a social policy researcher for three years for the South Korean government. Currently, her research focuses on the acculturation process and mental health of second generation immigrants. She is particularly interested in reducing depression of children who have immigrated to the United States. By using her research expertise, she plans to conduct a survey and analyze the factors that affect the level of depression among children who have immigrated to the United States.
