Mi Sun Choi is a second-year doctoral student. She received her MSW at Ewha Womans University in South Korea. She has post-MSW experience as a researcher in elderly income security policy at the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs and strategy research for nonprofit organization management at Seoul Welfare Foundation. Her research currently focuses on the issues related to aging in the human services workforce. Choi is studying how to maximize older adult’s capacity through efficient management in organizations and the community. She is a graduate research assistant for Shannon Jarrott studying inter-generational relationships in mentoring programs and exploring secondary data analysis. Choi is contributing to the project objective of assessing the unique influence of inter-generational relationships on children’s experiences of tutoring programs.
