Congratulations to Dr. Dawn Anderson-Butcher who has been elected as a Fellow in the National Academy of Kinesiology, a pinnacle career achievement and one of the most prestigious honors for kinesiology scholars.

Election into the academy denotes the high esteem and respect kinesiology peers hold for Anderson-Butcher’s scholarship and leadership in the field. As a fellow, she will contribute to academy goals to advance the kinesiology field by serving in distinguished ways such as participating on committees, holding elected office, presenting at future programs and attending annual meetings.

Anderson-Butcher is now a member of both highly regarded academies, the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare and National Academy of Kinesiology.
