Ohio State’s General Education is designed to develop and refine qualities, abilities and characteristics that prepare its students to be engaged, resilient and adaptable citizens and leaders for life. Starting Autumn 2022, Ohio State launched a new General Education program (GEN). Students can contact their academic advisor if they have questions about following the GE (GEN) or the Legacy GE (GEL).
