The Community and Youth Collaborative Institute’s (CAYCI) work is highlighted in a national publication developed by The Finance Project called Follow the Money: A Tool for Mapping Funds for Out-of-School Time Initiatives. It discusses fiscal mapping (a research approach to identify financial resources systematically) and demonstrates how funding is allocated throughout the country for out-of-school time services for children and youth. The tool also provides financing strategies. Click here to view the entire publication, or go directly to page 13 for a highlight of CAYCI’s research in Ohio.
CAYCI is located within the College of Social Work at The Ohio State University. It focuses on the development of school-family-community partnerships and family support initiatives, the enhancement of youth development, sport, after-school programming, and the assessment/evaluation of youth development, family support, and school social work practices.
