2026 Field Breakfast: Celebrating Communities in Social Work

This year’s Field Breakfast Awards championed the hard work and dedication of the college’s many agency collaborators and their vital contributions to the social work profession. Over the past year, the college welcomed an additional 150 agencies, bringing the field office’s robust network to more than 500 invaluable community partners. The program also celebrated over 1,000 active student placements, whose combined efforts totaled approximately 475,000 hours of practice in the community.

BSSW Field Instructor of the Year: Melissa Brundage, Syntero
MSW Field Instructors of the Year: Alison Nolder, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and Mei-Ling Rivera-Cerezo, The James Cancer Hospital
Co-Instructor of the Year: Melissa Kapp, OSU College of Social Work
