Congratulations to Dr. Jacquelyn Meshelemiah who has been appointed as the college’s new associate dean of Academic Affairs, effective May 15, 2026 through May 14, 2030.
Meshelemiah has served in critical leadership positions in the college and in Ohio State’s Office of Academic Affairs and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position. Recently, she was featured as an engaged scholar by Ohio State’s Outreach and Engagement Department and was also promoted to professor. She is also the recipient of the 2025 NASW Ohio Statewide Lifetime Achievement Award as well as the 2025 Region 5 Lifetime Achievement Award. Meshelemiah is featured on the college’s website for her Grand Challenge paper and Black History Month. She has served at the college for 28 years.
