Congratulations to Logan Davis, HEC outreach & engagement manager, who was recently awarded the 2025 Perspectives Award by the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA).
AFA Perspectives is a quarterly magazine published by the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA), providing a platform for research, ideas, and discussions related to fraternity and sorority life. Davis authored the article, “Enough.” in the October 2024 edition. The piece is a powerful call to action for campus leaders, advisors and national organizations to prioritize harm reduction for opioid overdose prevention. Davis received the award at the 2025 AFA Annual Meeting.
“Receiving the 2025 AFA Perspectives award for ‘Enough.’ is a tremendous honor,” says Davis. “The AFA was my first professional home as a graduate student and young professional. Being recognized by the association for my thoughts and ideas is wonderful, however, it has been ecstatic to see harm reduction celebrated and recognized on a national stage by the professional association I first called home.”
