Clouner receives 2025 OPPA Prevention Visionary Award

Congratulations to Cindy Clouner who recently received the State Visionary Award from the Ohio Prevention Professional’s Association (OPPA). Clouner was honored for her work to advance prevention across the state and serves as the managing director of the Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Drug Misuse Prevention and Recovery (HECAOD).
In addition to recognizing Clouner’s accomplishments at the HECAOD, OPPA highlighted her partnerships with multiple organizations, collegiate impact on substance use and problem gambling trainings and initiatives, as well as her local coalition efforts in Marion County. Clouner was nominated by OPPA members.
“It was an honor to receive this award,” says Clouner. “I’ve been lucky to be surrounded by incredible colleagues throughout my career who have helped me grow into the professional I am today.”
