On Tuessday, June 3, the College of Social Work and Community Shelter Board invite you to join visiting professor, Dr. Gregg Colburn, for a presentation and moderated discussion about housing-related issues in the United States. In this event, community members will take part in conversations about housing insecurity issues present in central Ohio, as well as engage in creating applicable solutions. A light lunch will be served preceding opening remarks.
Colburn is a leading expert in housing, homelessness and urban development. Currently serving as an associate professor in the Runstad Department of Real Estate at the University of Washington, Colburn is co-author of Homelessness is a Housing Problem: How Structural Factors Explain U.S. Patterns and Affordable Housing in the United States. His work has been further featured in leading media outlets, including The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Economist, Bloomberg and National Public Radio.
