Congratulations to Byron Roush who has received the 2025 Distinguished Staff Award from The Ohio State University—the university’s highest staff recognition.
Roush is one of thirteen Ohio State staffers to be honored with the award and a luncheon was held in their honor. He serves as the college’s director of Educational Technology in the Office of Digital Innovation and Learning.
“I am thrilled to join the ranks of Distinguished Staff Award winners,” says Roush. Although this is an individual recognition, no great achievement is possible without having the right team. I have been lucky to work with terrific people throughout my career at the university and it is an honor to be part of the College of Social Work, whose staff is second to none.”
Annually, the award is given to exceptional staff employees for their outstanding achievements, service, leadership and dedication to Ohio State, as well as exemplifying the university’s shared values. Recipients are nominated and selected based on their exceptional leadership and dedication.
