While March Madness is an exciting time for sports fans, the popularity of legalized sports gambling can cause some to struggle with the complexities of problem gambling such as financial insecurity, a diminished sense of wellbeing and jeopardizing relationships at home, school or work. Assistant Clinical Professor Kelley Breidigan interviewed with 10TV’s WBNS news to discuss the mounting difficulties and consequences associated with gambling disorder.
Congratulations to Dr. Donte Boyd, who has been elected as a Director-at-Large for the Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR). Boyd will serve a three-year term from March 2026 through January 2029.
