Summer Story: Ashley Garcia
Posted on September 16, 2024 | Posted in: Staff
What’s cuter than twins dressing up like ketchup and mustard on their 5-month birthday in July? Winning first place dressed as a pair of “fresh fish” at a costume contest might be a close second. One thing’s for sure, these two certainly made a splash during their first summer.
In August, Ashley Garcia’s twins, Faith and Xander, accompanied their parents to Mansfield, Ohio’s Shawshank Redemption 30th year film anniversary. Ashley, CSW Continuing Education director, and hubby, Ryan, who also works for Ohio State in University Dining, have completed the Shawshank Hustle 7K for 10 years, making them “lifers.” This year, the couple was joined by their twins who also got a chance to meet some of the film’s stars. The day was topped off by their first ride at the Mansfield Carousel.
The family also vacationed in Frankfort, KY, where the twins finished their first 5K at the Buffalo Trace Distillery.
The summer of ‘24 delivered double the fun to Ashley and family!
