Olivia Chang, LLMSW, joins the college as a visiting scholar/student this summer. During her few months here, Chang, a PhD student in the Joint Social Work and Developmental Psychology program at the University of Michigan, will pursue her research interests in positive parenting, child maltreatment, adverse childhood experiences, community-based interventions and resiliency.
Chang joins Dr. Susan Yoon’s research lab to work with her team on multiple research projects, including the DREAM (Daddy REAds with Me) project which is a community-based intervention that involves collaboration between the college and community organizations (Action for Children, 2nd and 7).
During her visit, Chang aspires to explore new avenues of inquiry, form new connections and collaborations, and engage with and contribute to the vibrant scholarly community at the college.
