Jamari Michael White

Since graduating from Ohio State, I have been serving children, families, communities and organizations across the globe as a spiritual teacher, healer, coach, mental health therapist and social worker. For the past five years, I have successfully run my own healing practice, Black Ancestral Healing, supporting hundreds of leaders and communities of color in healing and transforming their work. Last year, I founded Soul Stewards, a hub for child spiritual health resources that empowers and supports parents, families, communities and organizations to center and care for the souls of children through direct spiritual health and healing services, education, training, and consulting.

I am honored to have been recognized for my work, including receiving the Dalai Lama Fellowship from the University of Virginia, the New Contemplatives Fellowship from Spiritual Directors International, and to most excitedly to have been recently chosen as a Forward Promise Fellow.

Currently, I am leading a new project called Spiritual Warriors Advocating for Youth (SWAY), a leadership program aimed at training adult leaders to promote spiritual health and leverage spirituality to improve the well-being of Black youth and families.
