Choosing a positive focus
Dr. Lisa Clarke Hill (MSW ’00) was connected with The Ohio State University via the Dr. Frank W. Hale Fellowship she earned for high academic performance from her undergraduate BSW program at Albany (Ga.) State University c/o 1999. She entered OSU’s Advanced Standing Program as a single mom with her then 4-year-old son and graduated from OSU with her MSW in clinical social work and emphasis on school social work in June 2000.
Since graduating from OSU, she has relocated back to her hometown of Moultrie, Ga., where she has been employed as a Certified High School Social Worker for 24 plus years. She earned her Doctorate in Social Work in 2021 from Capella University in Minneapolis. She was recently re-elected to her 4th four year term on her local city council, Moultrie.
Today, she is a wife, mother, grandmother and avid volunteer/member locally, statewide, and nationally. Lisa chooses to focus on the positive and encourage each and every current and future social worker to do likewise.
