Dr. Bunger joined the faculty at the College of Social Work in 2012. Drawing from prior experience in community health services planning, Bunger investigates strategies for promoting coordinated, high-quality care. Her research focuses on collaboration and competition among human service organizations, and implementation of evidence-based practices. She is currently examining the implementation, costs, and impact of a system demonstration to improve children’s access to evidence-based behavioral health services in partnership with local child welfare and behavioral health agency partners. This work is informed by specialized training in mental health systems, dissemination, and implementation research.
