During the past few years, Juan Lorenzo Benavides has collaborated with two visiting scholars, Öznur Bayar and Seungjin Lee, both under the guidance of advisor Dr. Susan Yoon in the Thrive lab at the college.
As the director of Sports Leadership and the LAFC Youth Leadership Program at the Bresee Foundation, O’Quinn has a strong passion for soccer which has helped him make a positive impact in youth development in Los Angeles.
