College Hosts “Appreciation” Campaign as part of Social Work Month

New this week!

In the spirit of Social Work Month, the College of Social Work (CSW) is partnering with Mental Health America of Franklin County (MHAFC) to help raise critically needed funds for mental health consumers in Franklin County. In addition, CSW would like to provide an opportunity for faculty, students, and staff to show their appreciation for one another and our ongoing commitment to values, principles, and growth of our profession.

Throughout the month of March 2010, you are encouraged to stop by the CSW Field Office (Room 125 Stillman Hall, 1947 College Rd., Columbus, OH 43210) during regular business hours and complete an appreciation card to honor or thank a fellow student, colleague, professor, or staff member. The appreciation cards will be strategically displayed in Stillman Hall for all to see. We ask that you provide a minimum $1.00 donation (yep, just a dollar!) for each appreciation card and anything more than that would be most generous. If you don’t wish to complete an appreciation card, feel free to make a monetary donation.
Donations will be collected at the end of the month and provided to MHAFC as a check from CSW. The final day for appreciation cards and collecting donations will be March 31, 2010. For more information on MHAFC, visit Thank you in advance and if you have any questions, please contact Michael Madry at 614-292-3266 or
