Adults are finding it increasingly challenging to monitor and understand adolescents’ online social networking activities. More than 20  percent of teenage girls are estimated to have sent out nude or semi-nude photos of themselves via text; from myspace and facebook to instant messaging and interactive video games – today’s teens are at risk. In this interactive training, Lisa Rhees will discuss the ethical and legal ramifications that human service professionals need to know and how to educate parents to keep up with today’s trends.

Lisa Rhees, MA, MSW, LISW, Executive Director of Specialized Therapeutic Offender Programming (STOP), Inc. Lisa has provided training for: Ohio State University, College of Social Work, Franklin County Municipal Probation Department, the Franklin County Adult Probation Department, Ohio Corrections and Court Services Association and the Midwest Regional Hostage Negotiators Conference; Lisa is a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers.
