Meet your presenter: Brent Simonds
Brent moved to Columbus in April of 1998 to attend The Ohio State University, after transferring from the University of Toledo. The following year he was injured in a diving accident at a party near campus and fractured his spine, resulting in a cervical spinal cord injury. Not letting quadriplegia slow him down, he returned to school a year and a half later and earned a Bachelor’s in 2004 and a Master’s degree in 2005 in Social Work, both from Ohio State.
