This full-day skills-oriented training focuses on conflict as a normal aspect of the changing workplace and the ways in which such conflict can become an opportunity for improving relationships and enhancing effectiveness. Supervisors will learn to understand the originals and dynamics of conflict, assess one’s own approaches to dealing with conflict, and learn how to use conflict as a problem solving technique.
Presenter biography:
Presenter: Ruth McMonagle, MSSA, MBA, is President of Resource Management Associates. Ruth has been an independent trainer and consultant for over twenty years, specializing in management/supervisory training and increasing personal effectiveness. Ruth worked for 13 years in child welfare in many capacities, from caseworker to executive director.
