Overview of Child Psychopathology
This training will provide participants with a detailed overview of many of the major psychiatric disturbances frequently effecting children according to the DSM IV. Diagnostics will include Reactive Attachment Disorder, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorders. Discussions will include etiology, diagnostic criteria, prevalence, familial patterns and treatment implications. Risk factors and concurrent disorders will also be examined.

Janice R. Morabeto M.Ed. L.S.W. C.H.T. has over 23 years of clinical experience working with children, families and adults helping them bring wellness and success in their lives. She has worked as clinical director at Comprehensive Care Corporation, Assistant Treatment Manager at Franklin County Children’s Services and as an outpatient and crisis therapist at Worthington Community Counseling Services and Netcare Corporation. Janice is President of Morabeto Mind Legacy Associates Inc., an independent training and consulting company which develops and delivers training and consultation services to organizations such as The Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services, The Ohio Child Welfare Training Program, various private and public foster care agencies and is a professor at Ashland University. She has developed over 100 courses and conducted thousands of classes in topics ranging from personal mastery, mental health and illness and treatment modalities. Morabeto Mind Legacy Associates Inc. also offers online staff development and C.E.U. courses to Social Workers, Counselors, Educators and Foster parents. She is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neurolinguistic Programming and Hypnotherapy.
