This training is designed to review several case studies with complicated diagnostic implications, for the clinician wanting advanced diagnostic practice. Some review of the 5 axes and differential diagnosis complications that can occur will be reviewed in a lecture format, with the majority of the day spent on case study practice.
Participants will have by the conclusion of this training:
Obtain advanced practice in diagnosing cases that have complicated outcomes including dual diagnosis, medical issues and criteria that could explain several different mental health areas.
Presenter: Jennifer Haywood, LISW, LICDC, has been treating dually diagnosed adults and adolescents for over fifteen years; is a private practitioner and lecturer at Ohio State University, College of Social Work, Columbus State and Capital University
