Change is a fact of life and will occur whether we move with it or not – like it or not. Change does not come with a blue-print so each of us ends up finding our own way through change.
This one-day fun and stimulating workshop will give you with coping techniques for helping yourself and others adapt to change, deal with change resistance, and succeed during times of personal and organizational change.
Participants will learn:
• Know the 3 stages of change and how to better adapt to personal and
workplace change
• Understand change resistance and ways of dealing with resistance – in self and in others
• Know 4 major survival tactics for successfully coping with change
• Understand the value of using humor during change
• Define self-empowerment and know the importance of proactively initiating change
• Know techniques for questioning the status quo and identifying areas for continuous improvement
Trainer biography:
Presenter: Ruth McMonagle, MSSA, MBA, is President of Resource Management Associates. Ruth has been an independent trainer and consultant for over twenty years, specializing in management/supervisory training and increasing personal effectiveness. Ruth worked for 13 years in child welfare in many capacities, from caseworker to executive director.
