The Research Advisory Group (RAG) meets from 3pm to 5pm on the 4th Wednesday of each month in room 307 Stillman Hall.
Membership is open to all College faculty & staff interested in research. The Associate Dean for Research & Faculty Development convenes, facilitates, and proposes the agenda for monthly meetings with input from all members.
This group is charged with advising the College and the Associate Dean for Research & Faculty Development on the following:
- Formulating policies & procedures needed in order to enhance research productivity & quality in the College;
- Specifying services and supports needed to facilitate grant submission & implementation of funded and unfunded projects;
- Developing initiatives aimed at facilitating collaboration & communication about our research within the College and with partners in the University & other communities;
- Planning faculty development activities including brown bags, methodological & technical assistance workshops, mentoring & consultation arrangements, etc.;
- Proposing efforts aimed at enhancing our enthusiasm for knowledge-building and the spirit of inquiry in the College.
