Jennifer E. Heller, Director of Development
Jennifer E. Heller is the Director of Development for the College of Social Work. Jennifer has been with The Ohio State University since 1989, and joined the central Development Office in April, 1994. After a number of positions within University Development, Jennifer joined the College's Development office in November, 2001 as its first full-time director of development.
Jennifer is a Buckeye through-and-through. "I was born at University Hospital, went to school at Ohio State, so it just makes sense that I've made my career, here too," she says. That love for Ohio State makes her work as a major gift fundraiser all the easier. "I did not really know much about the field of social work until I came to the College," she says. "I learned a lot in my first years here. The more I learn about social work, the easier my job becomes. I know the importance of the the work that social workers do, and that our College is training such great students to do it. I'm very proud to be making my career in something that is so critical to our community. It feels good to know the work we're doing here makes such an impact."
