Social Work Study Abroad Scholarships

The College of Social Work offers scholarships for $500-$1000 for Social Work Students participating on Social Work Study Abroad program in India. These scholarships are offered via the Social Work Development Office. The application deadline is March 14, 2011 for the 2011 summer program.

To apply students must...

• be enrolled as a student in the College of Social Work
• apply to one or both of the Social Work programs in Mexico and India (to receive the scholarship - students must be accepted to one of these programs) 
• be in good academic standing with a record of academic excellence (GPA will be considered) 
• have financial need
• outline how study abroad will contribute to your professional goals whether they be in practice or research
