David Kondrat, GSL, Dr. Shantha BalaswamyEmployment

Doctoral students may decide to work as they complete their degrees. Some of our students have opted to maintain positions they had when they applied to the program and others seek out new opportunities in their field of interest. Some of our students have held positions on campus. Applicants and students interested in regular OSU employment can find position postings on the OSU job postings webstite.

Graduate Student Lecturers (GSLs)

Doctoral students also may work as lecturers for the College. These students are hired to teach particular courses in particular quarters. These appointments pay monthly, but do not provide tuition or fee waivers. The number and type of positions available depend on College need. Students interested in this type of position should also complete the PhD Graduate Associate Application.
