Doctoral Student Organization

The Doctoral Student Organization in Social Work is free and open to all. Students enrolled in the PhD program in Social Work are automatically members. The election of officers takes place each spring.

The organization provides a forum for the development of doctoral student community building and professional enhancement. DSO invites speakers from among the College faculty, the Institutional Review Board, the Graduate School, and other offices on campus. DSO also organizes the Student Poster Presentation in Conjunction with the National Symposium on Doctoral Research in Social Work.
