21st Century Community Learning Centers work to enhance the education of children, support families, promote healthy youth development, and bring together communities.
Learning in Fitness & Education (LiFE) Sports
LiFE Sports is a collaboration between the College of Social Work and the Ohio State University Department of Athletics. The program will provide youth from the Columbus area with the opportunity to participate in various sport activities and, at the same time, develop social and personal skills.
Mental Health-Education Integration Consortium (MHEDIC)
MHEDIC is an interdisciplinary group of researchers, practitioners, and policy leaders focused on promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and professional workforce preparation for the many disciplines involved in supporting student learning and mental health, including educators, mental health and health staff, families and youth, advocates and others.
CACYI is currently partnering with Cardinal Health to evaluate their efforts at educating parents, coaches and youth about the use and abuse of prescription drugs.
CAYCI is in partnership with the Academic Acceleration Academy (AAA), the only charter school sponsored by Columbus City Schools, to strengthen the overall learning support system and enhance the programs, services, and intervention offerings at the school.
The Ohio Coalition for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) and the Central Ohio Educational Service Centers is currently partnering with CAYCI to examine the service delivery system for autism spectrum disorders in the state of Ohio.
