The Social Work Alumni Society has been in existence since 1972 and is a charter Society of The Ohio State University Alumni Association. The Society plays an important role in promoting and supporting the goals and mission of both The Ohio State University and the College of Social Work. The Society is looking forward to the 2012 year and some new opportunities, which include:
• Collaborative Events with the College,Community, and Students: Sporting Events, Happy Hours, Mini-Reunions, Trainings, Regional and Out-of-State Events
• Volunteer/Service
• Mentorship Opportunities
• Career Database Access
• No Membership Fees! All social work alumni are members of the Alumni Society (2011 paid members will keep benefits for the 2012 year)
The Society is currently working on updating their by-laws and 2012 events. Please look for these to post in the near future.
