Program Accreditation and Assessment

Undergraduate and Master’s Social Work programs are reviewed for reaccreditation by the Council on Social Work Education every eight years. The College of Social Work underwent a comprehensive self-study and site visit of its two accredited programs: the Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) and the Master of Social Work (MSW). Both programs were reaffirmed for accreditation until October 2026.

Annual Program Outcomes reports are prepared as one component of the College’s ongoing accreditation process with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The assessment measures tracked in the report align with the 2015 standards outlined by CSWE, particularly the competencies and CSWE-identified practice behaviors for students to master upon completion of their social work degree program.
