Dr. Danziger speaking at the 2008 O'Leary LectureThe College of Social Work at the Ohio State University hosted the 2008 Robert J. O’Leary Memorial Lecture on Monday, November 17, 2008: Child Poverty and Antipoverty Policy in the United States.  Dr. Sandra Danziger, Director of the Michigan Program on Poverty and Social Welfare Policy at the Ford School of Public Policy and Professor at the University of Michigan School Of Social Work, delivered the lecture.  Respondents to Dr. Danziger’s lecture included Dr. Sharon Seiling, Professor in the College of Education and Human Ecology at OSU, and Paul Fraunholtz, Deputy Director of the Office of Family Stability at Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and member of Governor Strickland’s Antipoverty Task Force.  The 2008 O’Leary Lecture was a great success.  Over 200 students, staff, faculty, and community members attended.
